a mistake which everybody does at least once

While updating my iPod as usual, I realized that there was something unusual going on.

I organize all the data inside the iPod manually and don't let it sync with stuff in iTunes on my Mac. When converting music CD to mp3 files, I erase things inside Mac for saving room and only the ipod keep the data.

But somehow, maybe the software for the iPod was automatically upgraded recently...it just started to sync everything. WAIT, but it was late(not too late, though).....playlists have been swapped to the itunes' which I rarely use when listening to music by Mac. I hit the cancel in the middle of synchronizing process, so some songs were already gone and some stuff remained in iTunes and deleted from iPod came back. Most of them were safe but Andy Timmons is gone, Mahavishunu is gone, Britney is gone, BBC radio news came back...and so on.

Some of them have been recovered now, but I lost Britney since I didn't keep copies in my Mac. Oh well. But I take that as I just had enough time to listening to her music. There are more other than Britney's, but when it's gone, it's gone. So that's ok.

TIme to bed and tomorrow is a big day for work!!!!
